Morse Code Translator

About Us

Morse Code Translator is a free, browser-based tool for converting text to Morse code and Morse code back into text. It was built to be the kind of tool we wanted to use ourselves: fast, distraction-free, and honest about what it does with your data — nothing typed into the translator ever leaves your browser or gets sent to a server.

What we built

The translator works in both directions — English to Morse and Morse back to English — and updates live as you type. Beyond plain text, it can play your translation back as audio (with adjustable speed and pitch) or as a flashing light signal, and it includes full support for numbers alongside letters. You can copy a translation, share it via a link, or generate a QR code for it, all without creating an account.

Why it's free and sign-up-free

We think a utility this simple shouldn't require an account, a subscription, or a data-collection trade-off. The translator runs entirely client-side in your browser, so it works the same whether you're studying for an amateur radio exam, working on a Scouting badge, or just curious what your name looks like in dots and dashes.
